Job description

Summary

Provide professional technical advice to our customers, by on-site support on paint application and inspections to ensure that the coating specification is met, and the job is completed according to the contract and the customer’s satisfaction.

This position will be reporting to Technical Service Assistant Manager and will be based in Johor, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Give clear instructions to clients and relevant Jotun staff on paint application by working on site with client representatives to ensure the coating specification is met in accordance with customer expectations.
• Carry out inspections of a specific project assigned by your direct manager by working independently, following the ITP and working procedures to ensure that the product is applied in accordance with the specification.
• Write relevant reports by compiling data from inspections in order to document that the specification inspection criteria have been met.

Qualifications

• Possess certificate from IMM (Institute of Materials, Malaysia) or Equivalent.
• Fluent English in both spoken and written.
• Fluent Mandarin speaking will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel within Johor.
