Job summary

A manufacturing company in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a CNC tooling programmer/specialist with at least 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and expertise in CAM software like MasterCam and AutoCAD. Qualifications

Job description

SKM Level 3/DKM Level 4/ DLKM/Certificate/Diploma/Advance Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

3 years’ experience as CNC tooling programmer/specialist.

Knowledge and experience with CAM (MasterCam, ZWCam), CADD Software (i.e. AutoCAD, ZWCAD).

Ability to read and interpret blueprint and strong attention to details.

Ability to set the machine and decide correct tools to use.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver complete fabrication ready 3D Mold designs and 2D drawings from client's product design.
  • Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.
  • Creating/Inputting the product design into the CAM before the job is ready to run at machine.
  • Monitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task.
  • Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
  • Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
  • Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
  • Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
