Job summary

A manufacturing firm is seeking a Production Programmer responsible for creating and maintaining CNC machine programs for server racks and data centre products. The role involves optimizing fabrication processes and working closely with design engineers and production teams to ensure efficiency and compliance with specifications. Ideal candidates will have a degree in mechanical engineering and 2-5 years of CNC programming experience, along with strong knowledge of fabrication processes and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in CNC programming, preferably in sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machines (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, or equivalent).
• Understanding of fabrication processes such as laser cutting, punching, bending, welding and powder coating.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise CNC programs for various fabrication equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings and generate accurate programs.
• Prepare setup sheets and work instructions for production teams.
