Responsibilities

• Perform machining operations in accordance to work instructions.
• Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions.
• Produce required products in accordance to given specifications.
• Program components on machine using provided information.
• Save programs and set up sheets after every job.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ensure quality of parts is to standard requirements.
• Maintain and secure work tools.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Maintain good housekeeping rules and regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with tooling or material matters.
• Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety standards.

• Perform machining operations in accordance to work instructions

• Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and make the necessary adjustments to correct the fault or malfunction

• Produce required products in accordance to given specifications with a sense of quality ownership

• Program components on machine using information provided

• Save all the programs and set up sheets after every job

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Ensure quality of parts is to standard requirements

• Maintain and secure work tools

• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use

• Maintain good housekeeping rules and regulations

• Assist Supervisor with any tooling or material matters
