Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Batu Gajah is seeking a CNC Machinist responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to fabricate precision parts. The ideal candidate should have at least 1-2 years of experience in CNC machining, be able to interpret technical drawings, and perform routine machine maintenance. A full-time position with a salary range of RM2800 to RM3800 is offered.

Job description

We are currently hiring a CNC Machinist to operate computer numerical control (CNC) machinery to fabricate precision parts and components used in our industries. An ideal candidate should be able to interpret technical drawings, set up CNC machines, program machining operations and monitor production processes to ensure the quality and accuracy of finished products.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines, including loading raw materials, securing workpieces, and installing cutting tools.
• Operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as milling, cutting, drilling, turning, threading, grinding and etc.
• Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
• Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software or machine-specific programming languages.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for each machining operation and troubleshoot programming errors and optimize tool paths.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs to keep machines running smoothly.
