Position Title: Cloud IAM Engineer
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Salary Range: RM10,000 – RM14,000

About the Role

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Cloud IAM Engineer to join its Cybersecurity division. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise‑wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across hybrid cloud environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the organization’s digital security, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of Enterprise Identity and Access Management (EIAM) projects across the organization.
• Integrate new applications and services with IAM platforms to enable secure and efficient user access.
• Manage Identity Lifecycle Management and Access Management implementation activities.
• Drive process improvements in IAM operations, aligning with industry best practices and security frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, regulatory, and internal audit standards.
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for IAM tools, providing technical and operational guidance to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver prioritized security projects and IAM‑related service requests.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Java programming and related technologies (HTML, CSS, JSP, Apache Tomcat, APIs).
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with IAM tools such as CyberArk, SailPoint, or Saviynt.
• Strong understanding of Cloud IAM environments including Azure, AWS, and Entra ID.
• Proficient in Linux, Unix, Active Directory, MSSQL, and network administration.
• Sound knowledge of IAM frameworks, security standards, and regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, BNM RMiT).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
