Job description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with a strong background in cloud migrations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Cloud based solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution scope.
• Lead E2E Cloud migration strategy and develop and execute plans for data and application migration.
• Assess existing IT infrastructure and provide cloud solutions and migration.
• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) for complex environments.
• Ensure cloud security configurations and best practices followed as per compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Cost optimization strategies and ensure efficient resource allocation
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during migration and post-migration phases.
• Develop cloud governance policies and frameworks to ensure the secure and efficient operation of cloud resources
• Stay up-to-date with cloud tools, services, technologies and best practices, collaborate with DevOps, junior team members, cloud engineers to streamline cloud adoption.

Requirements

• Possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• With at least 10 years of experience as Cloud Architect in designing and migrating enterprise-level systems to the cloud.
• Banking domain exposure an added advantage is required for this position.
• Strong working experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud migration strategies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., CloudEndure, AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration skills
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline design for cloud environments
• Knowledge of data migration and integration tools.
