We are urgently seeking a Clerk of Works to join our project team. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring site progress, ensuring construction quality, and coordinating with contractors and consultants to deliver works that meet specification, safety, and contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site inspections: Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Quality assurance: Verify workmanship and materials delivered to site meet required benchmarks.
  • Daily reporting: Prepare detailed site reports documenting progress, issues, and corrective actions.
  • Contractor monitoring: Oversee contractors’ activities to confirm adherence to schedules and contractual obligations.
  • Testing supervision: Witness material and structural tests both on-site and off-site.
  • Safety enforcement: Ensure all site activities comply with occupational safety and health regulations.
  • Discrepancy identification: Detect and report inconsistencies between design documents and actual execution.
  • Coordination role: Act as liaison between consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve technical or quality issues.
  • Meeting participation: Attend site meetings to provide updates, raise concerns, and recommend solutions.
  • Defect management: Inspect completed works, identify defects, and ensure rectification before project handover.
