Responsibilities

  • Ensure prompt processing of claims including appointment of adjusters.
  • Arrange bordereaux meeting with panel of adjusters on monthly basis.
  • Report to Unit Head on performance of panel Adjusters on quarterly basis.
  • Verify, assess and approve promptly all claims within authority.
  • Refer any complaints from Customers to Unit Head promptly.
  • Ensure fraud-affected claims are reported to management.
  • Ensure all necessary advices to Treaty Reinsurers are adhered to.

Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated Claim Executive to join our team at RHB Bank. In this role, you will manage Fire and Engineering claims, ensuring each case is handled fairly, accurately, and within the required timelines. You’ll work closely with adjusters, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to make sure all claims comply with company guidelines and industry standards.

What you will be doing
  • Ensure prompt processing of claims including appointment of adjusters.
  • Arrange bordereaux meeting with panel of adjusters on monthly basis.
  • Report to Unit Head/ Head, BA/FA on performance of panel Adjusters on quarterly basis.
  • Verify, assess and approve promptly all claims within authority and for claims exceeding authority to process, recommend and submit to Unit Head/ Head, BA/FA for approval.
  • To refer immediately any complaints received from Customers, Branches, BNM, PIAM, OFS and Intermediaries to Unit Head/ Head, BA/FA so that these are promptly and effectively monitored and resolved within the time frame.
  • To ensure all claims suspected having fraud elements or in violation of policy conditions are brought to attention of Head, BA/FA & in his/ her absence to HOD/ CEO.
  • Ensure all necessary advices to Treaty Reinsurers/ XOL are adhered to as laid down under the Reinsurance agreement.
  • To ensure all recoveries are actively pursued.
  • To monitor and review all files including aging cases effectively and within the time frame.
  • To monitor and review files on yearly basis.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Company from time to time.
