Job description

Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Stewarding Department, including kitchen utility and maintenance of areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, including pest control, dishwashing equipment, and cleaning equipment maintenance, while adhering to Food Safety Regulations and optimizing operational efficiencies.

Job Requirements:

  • 5 years of similar experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in conference venues and/or 5-star hotels.
  • Ability to train staff on product knowledge and cleaning procedures.
  • Ability to develop staff for business continuity and growth.
  • Experience with HACCP and ISO 22000:2018 (food safety) regulations, standards, and application.
  • Strong knowledge of chemicals and cleaning procedures.
  • Good leadership skills with the ability to plan and execute daily stewarding operations.
  • Hands-on management approach to ensure areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitization.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality of cleanliness and sanitization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff.
