Our client is a healthcare NGO org currently looking for Chief Fundraising Officer. Based in Selangor. The candidate is able to lead the Donor Engagement Department and Marketing Communication Department. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through donor relationships, corporate partnerships, and marketing initiatives that support the organization’s mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Strategic Growth
- Expand and grow income from individual and mid-level donors through monthly, yearly,and one-time donations via effective fundraising channels.
- Working independently and with the Board of Trustees to strategize and execute plans for donor acquisition and retention.
- Lead, supervise, and support the department staff to drive income growth and ensure business continuity and succession planning.
Donor & Partnership Engagement
- Developand implementstrategies to attract,engage, and retain individual donors and corporate sponsors .
- Fosterrelationshipswithkeystakeholders,high-net-worthindividuals,andcorporatepartnersto maximize financial contributions .
- Ensuredonor retention rates are kept within agreed KPls by executingimpactfuldonor retention programs .
- Overseedonor recruitment, management, and retention operationswhile ensuring compliancewithPDPA regulations and ethical fundraising practices.
- Ensure seamlessdonor experiences, from recruitmentand retention to upgradesand communications.
- Identifyand secure new funding sources, including grants, sponsorships,and philanthropic partnerships.
Marketing & Communications
- Managepressrelationships,mediaopportunities,andstakeholder communications.
- Planand execute fundraising events, donor appreciation programs, and communityoutreach activities.
- Developinnovativefundraisingcampaignstogenerateincomeandincrease engagement.
- CollaboratewithinternalteamsandBoardofTrusteestoaligneventswiththeorganization'smission and goals .
- Workwiththefundraisingteamtoidentifyandexecuterevenuegrowth opportunities.
- Drivefinancialgrowththroughstrategicbusinessdevelopmentandrevenue diversification.
- Work closely with the Finance Team on income reporting, consolidation, and reconciliation.
- Ensuretheappreciationcorrespondencefordonations(one-timeandmonthly)areexecutedwithinthe appropriate time frame.
- Identifyandimplementnewfundraisingmethodologies,donordatabasemanagementstrategies,and CRMsolutions for better donor engagement.
- Constantlystay updatedon industry trendsandinnovationsin fundraising, donormanagement,and retention models.
Requirements
- Bachelor'sorMaster'sdegreeinBusinessAdministration,Marketing,Communications,orarelated field.
- Minimum 12 yearsof experienceinsales, businessdevelopment,fundraising, or a relatedfield, with at least 3 years in a seniorleadership role.
- Proven track record in sales, businessdevelopment, or fundraising, preferably incorporate sales, donor engagement, or sponsorship management.
- Strongnetworkwithinthecorporatesectorandhigh-net-worth individuals.
- Strong communication skills, with experience in branding, marketing, and public relations.
