Job summary

A leading healthcare technology firm based in Malaysia is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial strategy and lead treasury functions including funding and investments. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in executive leadership, a Master’s degree in finance or a related field, and internationally recognized certifications. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with financial regulations, evaluating new investment proposals, and leading strategic initiatives such as onboarding institutional investors.

Drive financial strategy & lead the treasury functions including funding, investments, and financial institutional relationships.

Develop robust controls of the annual operating and capital outlays.

Implement best practices for fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communication, and workflow optimization.

Ensure compliance with national and local financial regulations.

Drive strategic initiatives: onboarding institutional investors and leading IPO exercises.

Responsible for evaluating new investment proposals with the intent to drive growth by expanding the current portfolio through brown‑field acquisitions or green‑field establishment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business, or finance.
  • Experience with institutional investors, IPOs, M&A, and investor relations.
  • Internationally accredited professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years in executive leadership roles.

Proven leadership, integrity, and strong communication skills (verbal, written, visual).

Advanced understanding of accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning.

Experience in strategic capital raising beyond traditional credit lines.
