In line with our business expansion, we are looking for qualified candidates to join our Financial Team.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a strategic partner to the Group CEO and shareholders in advancing the group’s profitable growth agenda within Malaysia’s nutraceutical sector.
The CFO will lead the transition from a family-led business to an institutionalized platform. This includes improving financial governance, reporting efficiency, funding, audit and compliance standards. The CFO will also drive a transformation agenda around upgrading the information systems and processes, improving commercial decision support, supporting value creation initiatives, assisting in M&A and preparing the group for future liquidity events.
1. Financial Strategy & Performance Management
Lead financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, funding and capital allocation, and strategic financial decision-making in support of the group’s profitable growth agenda.
Oversee reporting to the private equity sponsor, including monthly performance packages, annual budget, KPI dashboards, and EXCO materials.
Drive a performance management cadence across operating companies, ensuring financial transparency and alignment with group priorities.
2. Financial Governance, Reporting & Risk Management
Accountable for financial governance across the group, ensuring strong internal controls, disciplined financial policies, and adherence to best practices.
Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting and group consolidation, ensuring compliance with MFRS and regulatory requirements.
Manage statutory reporting, tax compliance, transfer pricing, insurance, and audit processes.
Lead working capital, cashflow, and treasury management, including bank relationships and loan facilities.
Oversee financial risk management frameworks across the group.
3. Transformation, Systems & Process Improvement
Drive the upgrade of company-wide systems, processes, and workflows to enable a scalable, institutionalized, and exit-ready platform.
Accountable for professionalizing the organisation’s finance, reporting, and control environment to meet private equity and future investor standards.
Lead digital finance transformation initiatives, including ERP enhancements and automation to improve efficiency, data quality, and reporting.
Strengthen ESG-related processes, measurement, and reporting.
4. Value Creation & Commercial Decision Support
Deliver data-driven insights and profitability analysis across customer, product, and order levels to support commercial decision-making.
Lead financial assessment of project finance and capex proposals.
Partner with the private equity sponsor and operating companies to identify and execute value creation opportunities.
5. Group Expansion & Integration
Support the group’s expansion initiatives, including evaluation of potential acquisitions, partnerships, and organic growth opportunities.
Provide financial and commercial input into investment assessments, including modelling, valuation, and risk evaluation.
Oversee integration of new businesses into the group, ensuring alignment of financial reporting, controls, systems, and key operating practices.
Build and develop a high-performing finance team capable of supporting a multi-entity, expanding platform.
Strengthen capabilities, alignment, and accountability across finance teams within operating companies.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA) preferred.
15+ years of progressive finance experience, including CFO / Head of Finance roles at group or multi-entity level.
Experience in similarly fast-growing mid-market businesses.
Strong background in finance transformation, group reporting and consolidation and operating in founder-led or family-business environments transitioning toward institutional structures.
Experience supporting M&A preferred.
