About our client

On behalf of our client, we are seeking for Chief Executive Officer to join their reputable organization

Job Responsibilities

• Creating, communicating, and implementing the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction. Leading the development and implementation of the overall organization's strategy.
• Leading, guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of other executive leaders
• Soliciting advice and guidance, when appropriate, from the BOD
• Formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business or organization
• Overseeing the complete operation of an organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans and in accordance to the BOD's instruction and decisions
• Evaluating the success of the organization in reaching its goals. Making sure that each strategic goal is measurable or that the outcomes can be described in a way that an agreed upon picture is shared by the team
• Looking at potential acquisitions or disposals that will enhance shareholder value
• Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
• Oversee the fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting and auditing

Job Requirements

• Strong and proven track record in the similar industry
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end agriculture operations (upstream and downstream)
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, able to inspire, influence, and build strong working relationships at all levels
• Excellent negotiation skills, especially in dealing with BOD, stakeholders, government bodies, and business partners
• Hands-on leadership style; willing to work on the ground and directly oversee field operations when necessary
• Strong financial literacy and accounting acumen to support strategic decision-making

• Tenure: Fixed-term contract
• Working hours: Mon-Fri (8.00am-5.00pm)
