Job summary

A poultry farm company in Kedah is seeking a dedicated individual for chick sexing to examine chick gender and train others in the process. The ideal candidate will possess at least SPM and have a diploma or degree in Animal Science as an advantage. Responsibilities include detailed observation of chicks, training new team members, and maintaining high standards of accuracy. Job description

Responsibilities

• Examines chick genitalia to determine gender by turning back skin fold of external cloacal opening or using an illuminating viewer to observe genitals.
• Provides full concentration for long periods over consecutive days with emphasis on repeatable accuracy.
• Places chicks into boxes by separating gender.
• Marks boxes of segregated chicks.
• Provides training or teaching to Chick Sexor Trainees to perform chick sexing tasks.
• Evaluates Chick Sexor Trainee skills in chick sexing.
• Double‑checks chicks that have already been separated out by a Chick Sexor Trainee.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least SPM and above.
• Diploma or Degree in Animal Science or equivalent is an added advantage.
• School leavers are encouraged to apply.
• Good health without colour blindness and any vision problem are compulsory.
• Self‑motivated and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
