Job summary

A global hospitality leader in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Chef de Partie to supervise the Pastry kitchen. The role involves ensuring high-quality food preparation and maintaining Hyatt's service standards. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in reputable hotels or restaurants, preferably in luxury brands. Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and safety protocols is essential, along with basic computer skills. Only Malaysian citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' work experience as Demi Chef de Partie/Commis in a hotel or large restaurant.
  • Experience in luxury international brands preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt standards.
  • Supervise the Pastry kitchen to prepare high-quality products.
  • Ensure courteous and professional service supporting outlet operations.

You will be responsibleto assist with theefficient running ofthe department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies andbrand standards, whilst meetingassociate, guest and owner expectations. The Chef de Partie is responsible to supervise the Pastry kitchen, in order to prepare a consistent, high quality product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience as Demi Chef de Partie/Commis in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards; preferably with experience in luxury international brands.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
  • Basic Computer Skills in MS Office is preferred.
