Job description

We are representing our client, a prominent manufacturer of frozen and ready-to-eat food products. They are known for their commitment to delivering high-quality and consistent food items, catering to both local and global markets. They are looking for Che De Partie to be based in Balakong, Selangor.

Overview

Job Description:

  • Monitor and responsible for day-to-day production fulfilment.
  • Monitor the inventory and assist in controlling the raw material preparation on daily basis.
  • Conducting daily inspection of kitchen with minute follow-ups report and planning
  • In charge of the food preparation in production kitchen including ingredients preparation, weighing, cleaning, machinery setting and make sure all the food preparation according to the SOP and specification.
  • Involved in kitchen preparation from food preparation to final products that be ready to shipped out.
  • Responsible for kitchen manpower planning and monitor their work schedule
  • Monitor food quality, taste and presentation. Making adjustment as necessary to maintain excellence.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and make sure all process flow is accordance with rules & regulation
  • Familiar with local requirement and adhering to health and safety regulation.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently.
  • Able to act fast and decisive while solving ad-hoc problems.
  • Able to handle product complaints.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties or project assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar central Kitchens production experience.
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A passion for creating high-quality dishes and innovative presentations.
  • Experience managing the preparation and cooking of food in the kitchen.
  • Must have excellent diligence.
  • Disciplined, keen to share your knowledge and learn new skills.
  • Have good working relationships, rise to the challenge, and adapt well to change.
  • Able to work on shift work, extended hour and weekends, Public Holidays when required.
Other info and benefits
  • Working hours: 6 days work. Shift basis (7.5 hours/day). Official: 7am-3.30pm (day shift) /7pm-3.30am (night shift) (May need to OT till 7pm/7am).
