Role Overview
Responsible for winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships with assigned postpaid channel partners within the designated territory of the state. Responsible for achieving sales and partner recruitment objectives. Represents the full range of company products and services to assigned partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish productive, professional relationships with all levels (Agency/PS/PNC/NC/SA) of partners in assigned territory.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable postpaid activation in assigned partner accounts.
- Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, with a productive & active partner relationship.
- Sell through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Escalate or refer potential channel conflict to CSM by monitoring communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Constantly feed back competitor activity within the assigned territory to superiors for potential countermeasures.
- Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements.
- Drive adoption of various company programs among assigned partners.
- Proactively recruit new qualifying partners.
- Deliver customer/partner presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences (where applicable).
- Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns and other promotional activities.
- Constantly update sales & visitation reports via redONE CM App as well as territory mapping.
- Perform additional tasks as required and necessary.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales/Channel Management, or specializing in regional sales or equivalent is required for this position.
- Strong communication skills, dynamic, result-oriented, with excellent presentation skills.
- Highly motivated and driven to achieve higher sales commissions.
- Preferably with Telco experience, but not essential.
- Personal qualities: Positive, passionate, collaborative, and able to perform under pressure in a challenging environment, as well as being a team player.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients), and English.
- Must have own transport.
