A leading engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced procurement specialist to develop and implement sourcing strategies for large-scale projects. You will manage tendering processes and build relationships with strategic suppliers. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in project sourcing and procurement. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement procurement & sourcing strategies focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers for an assigned category or group of categories. Working collaboratively with Bids/Proposal & Technical team, you will also have overall responsibility for managing the tendering process of large scale projects in compliance with the company integrity and contractual obligations.
