Job Overview

We are looking for a high-caliber professional to join our team as Cash and Trade Processing – Hybrid, based in Penang, Malaysia. The role supports Hong Kong operations and requires Cantonese/Mandarin proficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cash management operations such as funds transfer, check processing, return items, and other operations.
  • Perform callback or client contact activity.
  • Provide processing assistance for firm payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows, transaction clarifications, and referrals.
  • Aid with processing firm payments, receivables, trade transactions and liquidity flows, transaction clarifications, referrals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for User Acceptance Training (UAT) and training initiatives; train new team members and lower-level personnel.
  • Participate in compliance related activities to minimize losses.
  • Assist with cash & trade operational project needs.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
  • 0‑2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated basic experience in cash management processing and transaction services.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills.
  • Effective communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Required Cantonese/Mandarin proficiency to support Hong Kong operations.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
