Qualifications

You must possess a Professional Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Diploma in Education/Teaching, Linguistics/Languages or equivalent to the level/subject applied for.

At least 3 years of working experience teaching based on the position applied, be it Primary or Secondary teaching (Cambridge Primary/Secondary/IGCSE Curriculum).

Responsibilities

• Effectively prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities using varied teaching techniques.
• Research new topic areas, maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and devise new curriculum materials.
• Liaise with the Principal, Dept Head and other Team Members on the preparation and development of curriculum, teaching methods and assessments.
• Ensure complete compliance and execution of the syllabus during school hours; ensure the integration of technology in lessons and familiarity with smartboards; and demonstrate an awareness of, and make provision for, students who have special education needs.
• Prepare and grade exams, tests, projects and other assessments as necessary.
