Job summary

An eye specialist center in Malaysia is seeking a motivated Customer Care Specialist to plan and implement customer care and sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin proficiency as a plus. Responsibilities include answering inquiries, conducting outbound calls, and ensuring high standards of service. Experience in customer service or sales is preferred. Flexible availability for weekends or public holidays is required.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Plan and carry out customer care duties.
  • Plan and carry out call centre duties.
  • To answer phones and respond to customer requests/inquiries professionally and promptly with the ultimate goal of providing clear and concise information on Optimax products and services to the customers.
  • To conduct outbound and follow up calls to secure sales and to meet company’s goal and target set.
  • Implement sales plans and to ensure high standard of sales and service is provided to the customer.
  • To participate in Marketing / Business Development and Medical Tourism activities eg road shows as and when required.
  • Attend to walk‑in customers in front counter, face‑to‑face and phone enquiries, including provide counseling to customers.
  • To maintain Optimax standards and observe group compliance policy.
  • To perform other tasks that assigned by the Superior.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Minimum SPM or equivalent. Diploma or degree in a related field is an advantage.
  • Experience: Prior experience in customer service, call center, or sales roles is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin will be added as advantage as need to communicate to Chinese customers.
