About the role – Cafe Barista

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving beverages while providing excellent customer service. This role ensures a welcoming café atmosphere and consistent drink quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages
• Operate espresso machines and other café equipment
• Take customer orders and process payments
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and customer areas
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Handle customer feedback professionally

About the role – Cafe Chef

The Chef is responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality food items that meet the café’s standards. This role ensures efficient kitchen operations, food safety compliance, and consistency in taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Develop and update menus in coordination with management
• Ensure food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are followed
• Manage kitchen inventory and minimize food waste
• Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and work areas
• Monitor food costs and portion control
• Handle special dietary requests when required
