We are looking for a competent and versatile Business operations manager to run our facility in Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Office Operations
- Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and continuity.
- Manage office administration, facilities, vendors, and service providers.
- Establish and improve internal policies, SOPs, and operational controls.
Finance & Administration
- Coordinate with finance teams on budgeting, expense control, invoicing, and payments.
- Monitor operational costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, banks, and service providers.
Human Resources & People Operations
- Support HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, and employee administration.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and internal guidelines.
- Support performance management, training coordination, and employee engagement initiatives.
Visa & Immigration Management
- Manage employment pass, work visa, dependent visa, and renewal processes.
- Coordinate with immigration authorities and external agents to ensure timely approvals.
- Maintain accurate visa and compliance records for all employees.
Government & Regulatory Liaison
- Act as the key contact point with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and statutory authorities.
- Handle business registrations, licenses, permits, and regulatory filings.
- Ensure company operations comply with local laws and industry regulations.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with headquarters and regional teams to align operational standards.
- Support senior management with operational reporting and decision-making materials.
- Manage ad-hoc projects and initiatives assigned by management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business operations, administration, or corporate services.
- Strong exposure to admin, finance coordination, HR operations, visa/immigration, and government liaison.
- Solid understanding of local labor laws, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP/administrative systems.
