A property development firm in Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Manager with over 8 years of experience in real estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for market analysis, strategy development, partnership building, and stakeholder management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. This position demands a proactive and dynamic individual who can work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Market Analysis & Sourcing: Research new markets, source land/projects, analyze feasibility, and identify investment opportunities
Strategy & Growth: Develop growth strategies, create business plans, and manage development pipelines
Partnerships & Networking: Build relationships with investors, tenants (anchor tenants/mix), contractors, consultants, and government bodies.
Proposals & Negotiation: Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts, negotiating terms for JVs, leases, or sales.
Stakeholder Management: Liaise with authorities, manage investor relations, and ensure compliance.
Reporting: Track KPIs, report on progress, and forecast revenue for senior management.
Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required.
Possess a recognized degree or equivalent professional qualifications in any discipline.
Candidates must possess at least 8 years working experience in real estate or property developer background.
Possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Dynamic, ambitious and proactive and able to work under minimum supervision.
Mature, possess a pleasant personality, self-motivated, and able to multitask and work independently.
Excellent command of both written & spoken English
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
