A leading recruitment agency is searching for a Business Development Manager to join their cybersecurity division. You will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, consulting with clients on security needs, and managing the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in business development within the cybersecurity industry, excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and the ability to start immediately. This position offers a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and strategic market expansion.
Identifying and closing new business opportunities in the cyber sector.
Consulting with clients on SOC, Pen Testing, and Cloud Security needs.
Managing the full sales cycle from cold call to contract negotiation.
Representing the company at industry events and networking functions
About the Role: We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in our cybersecurity division. In this role, you will identify new market opportunities, manage key client relationships, and strategically expand our footprint in the cybersecurity sector. You will act as the bridge between complex security solutions and client business needs.
Strategic Market Expansion: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends and high-potential verticals. Generate qualified leads through cold outreach, professional networking, and industry events to build a robust sales pipeline.
Client Acquisition & Consultation: Engage C-level executives and IT decision-makers to understand their unique security posture. Present tailored cybersecurity frameworks (SOC, Cloud Security, etc.) and collaborate with technical teams to draft winning proposals.
Revenue Growth & Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Align with marketing and product teams to refine value propositions based on real-time market feedback.
Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, including emerging threats, compliance regulations, and our proprietary product suite to effectively advise clients.
