Job description

Delivers sustained profitable growth for the respective markets in the region.

Develop annual sales strategies in-line with profitable growth expectations of the company.

Establish profitable building blocks for strategic markets ; ie Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia.

Lead the regional sales teams on periodic engagement with all distributors in South East Asia region to achieve the approved annual business plan and all industrial customers to ensure high quality service levels render by FOM cross functional team.

Device & implement margin enhancement plan via establishing strategic pricing plan with expected profit margin to meet the competitive pricing in the market.

Analyse 3rd party syndicated market research & trends to develop relevant sales strategies for current product portfolio and new product launches.

Work closely with other internal stakeholders, including marketing, R&D, Finance and Operations, to ensure achievement of company's overall business objectives.

Facilitate new product development projects by collaborating with Sales Supports, R&D, Marketing and Operations team.

Lead the regional sales team to provide 12 months rolling forecast on monthly basis for all markets in the region.

Ensure timely collection of payment outstanding in-line with approved trading terms and company’s credit management policy.

Explore opening of new markets to continue business regional expansion.

Ensure capability of distributor is in-line with FOM business growth for the respective markets.

Schedule monthly virtual business review with strategic markets especially on implementation of volume growth building blocks.

Conduct annual assessment on distributor’s capability to support FOM business growth objectives in terms of sufficient manpower resource to service the agreed sales channels, capability of sales & merchandising resources to support visibility & availability of FOM products in retail channel, warehouse & logistic capacity to support FOM growth and financial capability to support FOM growth.

Schedule periodic market work to the respective markets ; to assess FOM products performance in the market, identify any new product trends, consumer engagement opportunities & new sales channels, review business progress with the implementation of growth building blocks implementation and strengthen engagement with distributor’s management & sales team.

Responsible to set appropriate Key Performance Indicators in-line with company’s annual financial budget.

Provide on-the-job coaching and feedback to the region sales team to help them enhancing their performance to achieve their respective KPIs.

Identify training and development supports for the respective sales personnel.

Others

Responsibleofpreparation and submission of monthly sales report ontimelymanner for Management review.

To perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior or Management.

Skill, Knowledge and Abilities (SKA)

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is preferred.

7+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role.

Strong understanding of grocery distributor management including sales principles and practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience using sales management software, such as CRM tools, to track and manage sales performance.

Ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve their targets.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
