Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented leader to join our team in the Investor Relations (IR) industry. In this role, you will spearhead initiatives to expand our IR, PR, M&A, Advisory, and ESG services, strengthen client relationships, and identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong grasp of financial markets, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for fostering meaningful investor engagement.
Your Role
- Drive sales of the company’s services, including IR, PR, M&A, Advisory, and ESG.
- Design and execute innovative business development strategies to grow the client base and enhance service offerings.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends within the investor relations sector.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, collaborators, and regulators.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development activities with project objectives.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on business development performance, refining strategies for optimal results.
- Conduct competitive landscape analyses to identify differentiators and new market approaches.
- Oversee event and programme execution, including client events, conferences, exhibitions, and ceremonies.
- Lead communication campaigns, including social media and marketing initiatives.
- Manage timelines and deliverables for your portfolio.
- Maintain project management documentation throughout all project stages.
- Respond to inquiries from potential leads and existing clients.
- Support broader marketing activities as required.
Role Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
- Preferably with 5 years’ experience in investor relations, public relations, marketing, investment banking, accounting, or corporate communications.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and operational excellence.
- Event management experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft and edit impactful marketing materials.
- Proactive, resourceful, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English & Malay; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Committed to delivering high-quality work with strong follow-through on all tasks and projects.
