Business Development Executive (Based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya)

NuEnergy Holdings Berhad is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and is actively involved in the solar renewable energy business.

The company is expanding and we are now hiring a Business Development Executive.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for Solar PV projects
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with commercial and industrial (C&I) clients
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, proposal preparation, presentations, negotiation, to contract closure
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth
  • Prepare and present sales reports, pipeline updates, and realistic sales forecasts to Management
  • Monitor market trends, emerging opportunities, competitor activities, and new products; lead client presentation and provide basic consultancy during business development stages
  • Attend site surveys to examine solar photovoltaic (PV) project feasibility and provide Engineering team with relevant site information for PV system design and layout drawing
  • Support marketing initiatives such as exhibitions, roadshows, seminars, and promotional events
  • Undertake other sales, marketing and business development duties specified by Management from time to time
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Candidates with 2–3 years of sales or business development experience (B2B or technical solution sales) will have an added advantage
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Passionate and in-depth knowledge in Renewable Energy Industry
  • Proactive, driven, and results‑oriented mindsetTeam player with good interpersonal and communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage)
  • Possess own vehicle and willing to travel for work
  • Internship or project exposure related to sales, engineering, or renewable energy
  • Basic knowledge of Solar PV systems or technical solutions
