Job summary

A leading solar energy solutions provider in Malaysia is looking for a Business Development Executive to reach sales targets and manage customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in project sales, and be comfortable in a result-oriented environment. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for liaising with clients. Join our dynamic team to help promote renewable energy solutions and make a positive impact.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Sales; experience in Project Sales is an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Able to speak Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision.

What you'll be doing
  • To achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • To present a positive company image to clients and prospects, and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships.
  • To perform sales activities such as cold‑calling, walk‑ins, email blasts, and other outreach methods to identify and approach prospects.
  • To understand clients’ needs and propose suitable solutions to successfully close deals.
  • To monitor project progress regularly, support related teams, and ensure smooth processes and transitions throughout the project cycle.
  • To follow up on payment collection according to the agreed payment schedule.
  • To provide timely feedback to management on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • To support marketing‑related activities such as exhibitions, roadshows, and promotional events when required.
  • To assist with ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
What we're looking for
