A leading business development company is seeking a professional for Government Agency Business Development and SME outreach in Malaysia. MHSI RESOURCES (VERTICO) – Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor

Salary : RM4,000 + Comission (RM1k-RM6k)

Key Responsibilities
Government Agency Business Development
  • Identify and approach government agencies, especially around Putrajaya and Selangor, for direct negotiation projects (non-ePerolehan).
  • Build and maintain relationships with officers, procurement units, and departments.
  • Secure small to mid-value jobs (< RM30,000 per invoice) to build company track record and experience.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and basic documentation for government jobs.
  • Source and approach corporate clients in Kuala Lumpur for uniforms, T-shirts, and corporate apparel.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to close deals.
SME Outreach (Bangi & Surrounding Areas)
  • Actively approach SMEs located in Bangi and nearby areas.
  • Promote VertiCo’s products for staff uniforms, events, and company branding.
  • Focus on volume-based SME orders (e.g. 10–50 pax per company).
  • Plan and execute offline sales strategies without paid advertising.
  • Maintain a database of prospects, leads, and active clients.
  • Coordinate internally with operations/design teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • 3–5 years experience in B2B sales, business development, or corporate sales (government exposure is a plus).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, walk-ins, calls, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and results-driven.
  • Willing to travel around Putrajaya, KL, and Bangi.
Added Advantages (Nice to Have)
  • Experience dealing with government agencies or corporate procurement.
  • Existing network in government, corporate, or SME sectors.
  • Understanding of uniforms, apparel, or printing industry.
