Job summary

A growing lubricant trading company is seeking a Business Development Associate for their Kuantan location. This full-time role focuses on generating new business opportunities across the East Coast region. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Chinese and Malay, with a drive for sales and excellent negotiation skills. You will handle sales for Petron stations, maintain client relationships, and travel frequently for customer visits. JASA SYNTHETIC SDN BHD is a growing lubricant trading company based in Gebeng, Kuantan. We are the authorised dealer for Petron lubricants and are currently working towards becoming Petron's sole distributor for the East Coast region.

Our focus is to supply premium lubricants to various sectors including Petron gas stations, transportation, manufacturing, heavy equipment, fleet operators and many more.

Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role based in Kuantan for a Business Development Associate. The individual in this role will identify and generate new business opportunities through lead generation and market research across East Coast region (Pahang, Terengganu, and Kelantan).

Job Responsibilities
  • Handle and grow sales for Petron stations (small pack orders)
  • Develop new industrial accounts for large pack lubricant supply
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Conduct client visits, product pitching & presentations
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations & proposals
  • Hit monthly sales targets and achieve business KPIs
  • Travel frequently throughout Kelantan, Terengganu and/or Pahang
  • Provide feedback on customer needs, competitor activities & market trends
  • Coordinate delivery arrangements and after-sales support
Qualifications
  • Proficient in Chinese & Malay (English is an advantage)
  • Minimum Diploma / Degree holder, fresh grads welcomed with willingness to learn
  • Experience in sales is an added advantage
  • Possess a valid driving licenceWilling to travel frequently for customer visits
  • Confident communicator with good negotiation skills
  • Independent, responsible, target‑driven personality
