Job Summary
- This role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, support, and administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365BC).
- The position works closely with external functional and technical consultants, acting as the internal liaison to ensure business requirements are delivered effectively.
Job Responsibilities
D365 Business Central Application Support & Coordination
- Serve as the primary internal contact for D365 Business Central-related matters.
- Provide first-level functional support to end users and assist with issue analysis.
- Liaise with external vendors and consultants for system configuration, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Monitor and follow up on vendor deliverables, timelines, and support requests.
Change Requests & Testing
- Gather and document business requirements for system enhancements or changes.
- Coordinate Change Requests (CRs) with vendors, including scope clarification and impact discussion.
- Support and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) prior to production deployment.
- Assist in post-deployment verification and user support.
Data, Reporting & Documentation
- Assist users with standard reports and basic data validation.
- Support basic data checking and extraction as required.
- Maintain system documentation, user guides, and SOPs.
- Support user training and adoption of system improvements.
General IT Support (Limited Scope)
- Provide basic IT support for end users (hardware, software, access).
- Coordinate with external IT vendors for infrastructure, network, or security matters.
- Escalate issues when required.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft NAV.
- Experience working with external system vendors or consultants.
- Basic understanding of business processes such as finance, inventory, sales, or purchasing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Exposure to ERP change management or UAT activities.
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, or distribution environments.
- Basic understanding of ERP reporting and data structures.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently with guidance from vendors and management.
