Job summary

Overview

Maintain and implement a management system to make a consistent and systematic framework. Constantly assist in review of management process for an improved and practical system.

Lead an assurance program to ensure it is consistently carried out for a safe plant operation.

Assist the Chief Operating Officer on all business development related activities inclusive of reporting to higher level management. Also interact with corporate and other Malaysia offices on matter related to procurement, competency, capex project, and any development initiatives.

Ensure annual internal audit program development, implementation and competency of internal audit team are well maintained or enhanced :-

Ensure annual internal audit plan is develop by risk priorities.

Audit processes must be consistently executed as per First Party Audit procedure.

Defined competency must be provided to internal audit team members.

Ensure audit preparation I effectively done for quality and smooth audit.

Ensure significant audit findings are reported to Chief Operating Officer.

Ensure the audit finding action items are tracked to closure and timely reporting to the IA Team Leader and Advisor for further escalating to Leadership Team.

All action items must be evidence based and recorded systematically.

Conduct annual management review meeting and present and analysis to the leadership team.

Monthly update on internal audit activities and action item closure status and present audit report as and when it is available.

To coordinate 2 cycles of Internal Audit with HQ approved Auditors and ensure “No” overdue of action items.

Assist COO on various activities related to system and cost improvement, developmental, competency etc.

To coordinate and compile weekly and monthly management and cost performance reporting and send to corporate leaders.

To work closely with Operations and HQ Marketing on the sale off-spec product.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health and Environmental / Business Administration /Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years working experience.
  • Professional certification in Document Controller, Quality Assurance, Compliance, or Risk Management (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, CRMA) is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in business assurance, risk management, or compliance roles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in business performance analysis tools and reporting systems.
