Job Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst with 1–2 years of experience to support business operations, analyse processes, and deliver insights through data and systems analysis. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, supporting multiple projects, and using tools such as Power BI to support reporting and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support, including involvement in people and operations management activities where required.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and reporting formats.
- Analyse business processes and system workflows, and construct workflow charts and diagrams to document requirements and system behaviour.
- Write clear business and functional specifications based on business needs and system capabilities.
- Improve existing systems and processes by studying current practices and designing effective modifications.
- Recommend operational and system controls by identifying issues, gaps, and risks, and documenting improved procedures.
- Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of Information Systems and apply best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use Power BI to develop dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support operational and management reporting.
- Manage customer and stakeholder relationships by establishing effective communication processes and providing regular project updates.
- Communicate findings and progress through written and verbal channels, including emails, reports, presentations, executive updates, and task lists.
- Participate in or support multiple projects by maintaining project documentation, managing scope, tracking timelines, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Facilitate and participate in project meetings and presentations involving senior management, customers, and technical teams.
- Follow proper escalation procedures and support coordination with customers and external vendors where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, IT, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of working experience as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar role.
- Hands‑on experience or strong exposure to Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
- Good understanding of business processes, systems analysis, and basic project management concepts.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast‑paced environment.
