As a Branch Manager, you will lead day‑to‑day operations, drive business performance, and deliver an exceptional customer journey—backed by CARSOME’s strong digital platform, marketing engine, and expert teams. Your Day To Day

Sales Leadership & Business Performance

Branch Results: Take full ownership of the branch’s acquisition and sales targets, with full accountability for performance.

Maximise Transaction Performance: Aggressively drive strategies to boost team productivity and optimise results in both vehicle acquisitions and sales.

Lead with Data: Consistently track KPIs, analyse performance trends, and act on insights to improve outcomes.

Strategic Execution: Oversee the vehicle purchasing and selling process with precision, speed, and operational consistency.

Lead Conversion: Refine lead generation, follow‑up, and closing strategies to increase conversion rates for both sellers and buyers.

Team & Talent Management

Build High‑Performing Teams: Lead, coach, and inspire your team to consistently exceed customer service and sales expectations.

Develop People: Recognise individual strengths, craft personalised development plans, and support career growth.

Plan & Optimise Resources: Effectively manage team rosters, scheduling, attendance, and leave to ensure optimal branch coverage.

Enforce Excellence: Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in daily operations.

Operational Excellence & Inventory Management

Inventory Management: Oversee vehicle stock levels, turnover rates, and inventory accuracy to maintain a healthy and efficient flow.

Streamlined Operations: Lead the day‑to‑day branch operations to ensure smooth execution, operational compliance, and an exceptional customer journey.

Problem Resolution: Proactively address operational or customer issues with speed and professionalism.

Profit and Loss (P&L) Management

Financial Stewardship: Manage the branch budget, control operational expenses, and identify ways to optimise profitability.

KPI Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor key financial and performance metrics, prepare accurate reports, and provide data‑driven insights to District and Senior Management.

Your Know How

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, Sales & Marketing, or a related discipline is essential.

Minimum of 5‑7 years of progressive leadership experience within the automotive retail industry, with at least 3 years specifically in a managerial or supervisory role.

Demonstrable track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets within defined timeframes.

In‑depth understanding and hands‑on experience managing a Profit & Loss (P&L) statement. You must be able to interpret financial data, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and drive revenue growth to optimise branch profitability.

Highly analytical and numbers‑driven, with the ability to swiftly analyse sales figures, operational costs, inventory turnover, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to make data‑backed decisions.

Proven ability to manage budgets effectively and work within strict financial parameters.

Ability to develop and implement short‑term (daily/weekly) and mid‑term (monthly/quarterly) operational and sales plans with clear objectives and deadlines.

Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a keen eye for optimising processes and resource allocation within set timeframes.

A natural leader with a proven ability to recruit, train, motivate, mentor, and retain a high‑performing sales and operations team.

Strong coaching skills, with experience in developing individual team members’ capabilities and careers.

Unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.

Solid understanding of automotive retail operations, including showroom management, inventory control, and administrative processes.

Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, capable of engaging effectively with customers, staff, and senior management.

Competency in using CRM systems, inventory management software, and standard office productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace).
