We are seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in Kulim, Kedah. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring efficient production, maintaining high quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support the overall growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate the activities of the production, quality control, and maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of manufacturing orders
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimise productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall business performance
• Monitor and analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain high levels of quality and productivity
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all manufacturing equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operating conditions
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance, training, and support to team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, logistics, and procurement, to align operations with broader business objectives
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements, automation, and cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar operational leadership role within the manufacturing or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean production principles
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills to identify and address operational challenges
• Proven track record in leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred
