About the role

We are seeking a certified and experienced Boilerman (Grade 1) to manage the daily operation, maintenance, and safety of the steam boiler systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the boiler runs efficiently, complies with regulatory standards, and supports safe plant operations.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and monitor steam boilers in accordance with operational parameters
• Conduct daily checks on boiler motors, pumps, fans, valves, and fittings (TPM)
• Raise requisitions for repairs or replacements when needed
• Maintain boiler area cleanliness and compliance with 5S standards
• Perform boiler maintenance and cleaning for annual inspections
• Record and report daily boiler operation data in the logbook
• Report urgent safety issues to immediate superior
• Participate in safety and health committee activities
• Execute additional tasks assigned by management

What we're looking for

• Possess valid Steam Boiler Grade 1 Certificate issued by DOSH
• Minimum 3–5 years hands-on boiler operation experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Good understanding of safety standards and preventive maintenance
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Strong reporting and documentation skills
• Willing to work on rotating shifts
