Job description

"ZUS Signature" is ZUS COFFEE's premium concept café targeting sophisticated customers. We aim to provide exceptional customer service, extensive coffee knowledge and a comfortable atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement Initiatives: Authority to lead customer engagement activities, including gathering feedback, offering product recommendations, and sharing insights about ZUS Coffee’s products and the coffee journey.
  • Quality Control: Authority to ensure consistency and excellence in the preparation of all coffee beverages, maintaining high standards in presentation, flavor, and overall product quality.
  • Training & Mentorship: Authority to mentor and train other baristas, sharing knowledge, demonstrating advanced techniques (e.g., latte art), and ensuring the team upholds ZUS Coffee’s service and quality standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Authority to address and resolve customer issues related to service or products, ensuring swift and effective solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Authority to suggest and implement improvements in coffee preparation processes, service flow, or customer interactions that align with the brand’s mission and values.
Requirements
  • Vaccinated with at least 2 doses
  • Proven experience as a Coffee Barista, with a strong track record of excellent customer service
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve customer issues effectively
  • Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM certificate in any field
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Good interpersonal skills, energetic and willing to learn new knowledge
  • A positive, outgoing attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
