Job description

The Banquet Executive will be based at our Golf Club in Taman Johor Jaya, Johor. This full-time role is responsible for promoting and managing the rental of the Club’s event and banquet spaces, coordinating banquet arrangements, and driving sales to achieve assigned revenue targets while ensuring a high standard of service for all clients and guests.

What you’ll be doing

Manage and drive the banquet sales process from initial enquiry to event completion

Promote and sell banquet and event spaces to achieve assigned monthly sales targets

Handle all banquet enquiries, proposals, and client negotiations in a professional manner

Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) accurately and on time

Liaise closely with operations and service teams to ensure events are set up as scheduled and delivered in accordance with agreed quality and service standards

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction before, during, and after each event

Build, maintain, and strengthen long‑term relationships with corporate and individual clients

Monitor and ensure timely collection of deposits and full payments in line with company policies and agreed timelines

Track and report banquet sales performance, bookings, and revenue

Attend weekly sales meetings and provide regular updates on sales activities and confirmed events

Oversee banquet‑related inventory and storage control, where applicable

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time

What we’re looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in banquet, event space, or hospitality sales, preferably within a club, hotel, or F&B environment

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Excellent planning, coordination, and basic project management capabilities

High attention to detail with a strong customer service and member‑focused mindset

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
