Job summary

A local kitchen company in Selangor is looking for a dedicated kitchen team member to assist in food preparation. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in kitchens and be passionate about baking. Responsibilities include planning menus, working closely with the head chef, and following company policies. This role requires a valid Typhoid and Food Handlers Certificate. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in kitchens, hotels, or restaurants.
• Must have valid Typhoid, Food Handlers Certificate, and Vaccination Certificate (2 dose + Booster).

Qualifications

• Possess minimum Certificates/Vocational/Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in either a) school kitchens, b) hotels or c) restaurants
• Passionate about food!
• Can bake a wide range of dishes, from breads, pastry, cakes and other desserts.
• Positive and inviting attitude
• Enjoy working around children and adults
• Self-motivated and can work with the team
• Must have valid Typhoid, Food Handlers Certificate and Vaccination Certificate (2 dose + Booster)

Responsibilities

• Work with the head chef to prepare daily meals
• Plan menus by consulting with head chef, estimate food costs and profits
• Own transportation to/from work location
• Ability to stand for several hours at a time in a fast pace kitchen
• Ability and wiliness to learn new recipes/processes and techniques
• Integrity to follow company policies and procedures (SOPs)
