Job description

Thakral One is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation. The role involves designing and managing pipelines for data and AI workloads, supporting Terraform-based IaC, and optimizing deployments across Azure, Databricks, and Airflow environments.

The Role

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and AI workloads using Azure DevOps
• Manage environment segregation (development, staging, production) and enforce access controls and deployment governance
• Automate build, testing, and release processes for Airflow, Databricks, and related components
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to optimise deployment workflows and troubleshoot environment issues
• Establish monitoring and alerting mechanisms for data pipeline performance and infrastructure reliability

The Expertise

• 5-7 years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in Azure
• Strong command of Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipeline automation
• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience supporting data platform deployments (Databricks, Airflow, data warehouses)
• Understanding of networking, identity management, and security practices in Azure
• Strong scripting experience (Python, Powershell, Bash)
• Prior experience working with multi-environment setups and production-grade deployments
