Job summary

A leading firm in the transportation sector located in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Manager for Rewards & HR Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and refining HR policies and leading change management initiatives. Qualified applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, at least 8 years of experience in HR functions, and strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws. Job description
Industrial Relations (IR) & Governance
  • Develop, review, and refine HR policies, employment contracts, and industrial relations frameworks.
  • Monitor and analyze labor market trends, regulatory developments, and industrial conditions to support strategic decision-making.
  • Facilitate training programs on labor relations, employment regulations, and HR governance.
  • Strengthen governance and compliance by:
  • Ensuring HR/IR policies are aligned with current legislation and best practices.
  • Preparing reports, policy papers, and presentations for the Board, Management Committees, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identifying IR-related risks and developing mitigation plans to support a stable and compliant work environment.
Change Management
  • Design, lead, and execute change management strategies for major organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess change impact, organizational readiness, and associated risks, ensuring proactive mitigation.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and communication strategies to drive buy‑in, clarity, and smooth adoption of change.
  • Support cultural transformation and reinforce corporate values to strengthen organizational alignment and employee engagement.
  • Track and report on change adoption, employee sentiment, and initiative effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in human capital functions with strong exposure to HR operations, industrial relations and employee relations.
  • Proven experience leading change initiatives in related or similar environment, with the ability to effectively manage and influence senior leaders and mid‑management stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and employment practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • High adaptability, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
