Industrial Relations (IR) & Governance
- Develop, review, and refine HR policies, employment contracts, and industrial relations frameworks.
- Monitor and analyze labor market trends, regulatory developments, and industrial conditions to support strategic decision-making.
- Facilitate training programs on labor relations, employment regulations, and HR governance.
- Strengthen governance and compliance by:
- Ensuring HR/IR policies are aligned with current legislation and best practices.
- Preparing reports, policy papers, and presentations for the Board, Management Committees, and internal stakeholders.
- Identifying IR-related risks and developing mitigation plans to support a stable and compliant work environment.
Change Management
- Design, lead, and execute change management strategies for major organizational transformation initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders to assess change impact, organizational readiness, and associated risks, ensuring proactive mitigation.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and communication strategies to drive buy‑in, clarity, and smooth adoption of change.
- Support cultural transformation and reinforce corporate values to strengthen organizational alignment and employee engagement.
- Track and report on change adoption, employee sentiment, and initiative effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in human capital functions with strong exposure to HR operations, industrial relations and employee relations.
- Proven experience leading change initiatives in related or similar environment, with the ability to effectively manage and influence senior leaders and mid‑management stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and employment practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- High adaptability, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
