Job description

Uber Motors Technik Sdn Bhd, a leading automotive servicing and repair provider with dealer level standards, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor. Our 19,000 sqft workshop is equipped with 10 hoists and manufacturer diagnostics. In this full‑time position, you will be responsible for keeping customers up to date and making necessary recommendations for servicing & repairs on their cars when it is in the workshop.

What you’ll be doing

• Act as the primary contact between a customer and the workshop.
• Understand customer needs, schedule appointments, explain service costs and processes.
• Document all work performed and maintain detailed records.
• Identify opportunities for cross‑selling services, parts and accessories to increase turnover.
• Ensure a high standard of care and customer service.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

What we’re looking for

• Formal technical training and qualification in automotive servicing and repair, such as a diploma or certificate.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience as a service advisor, preferably in a similar role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills for clear communication with customers, technicians and other staff.
• Technical knowledge and a strong understanding of automotive technology and industry processes to effectively explain services and issues.
• Organizational skills to manage appointments, schedules and workflow.
• Problem‑solving skills to resolve customer issues and find efficient solutions; excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer proficiency to use industry‑specific software and other tools to manage service orders and customer information.
• Valid driving license.
