Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Johor is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, be bilingual in English and Malay, and be knowledgeable about automotive job sheets. Responsibilities include greeting customers, evaluating vehicle conditions, and providing professional repair recommendations. A competitive salary of RM3,000 to RM4,000 per month, plus commissions, is offered.

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
  • Expected salary: RM3,000 - RM4,000 per month
Job responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and understand their vehicle issues, concerns, and service needs.
  • Conduct a basic evaluation of the vehicle’s condition, accurately record symptoms or issues, and arrange for further technical inspection.
  • Communicate customer concerns and vehicle conditions clearly to the technicians to ensure smooth and accurate information exchange.
  • Provide professional repair recommendations, explain required service items, estimated costs, and expected completion time to customers.
  • Follow up on the repair status, update customers promptly, and ensure the work is completed as scheduled.
  • Explain completed repair work to customers, ensure their understanding and satisfaction, and assist in completing the handover and payment process.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Able to communicate in English & Malay (Chinese is an added advantage)
  • Familiar with automotive job sheets and key in invoices
  • Salary range: RM3000-4000+comms
