Job summary

A leading automotive manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the overall quality function, ensuring compliance with international automotive standards like IATF 16949. Your responsibilities include managing quality teams, defining strategies, handling customer complaints, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree, with extensive experience (5–7 years) in automotive quality surveillance and a strong knowledge of quality tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in automotive quality.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Hands-on experience with quality measuring tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall Quality function.
  • Define and implement quality strategies aligned with operations.
  • Oversee development and implementation of quality procedures.
  • Manage customer complaints and perform root cause analysis.
  • Lead product qualification activities.
  • Monitor and analyze key quality KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects using quality tools.
