Company Background:

They primarily produce reliable tools for the power tool industry, with their headquarters based in the USA. Their company is located at Pekan Nanas, Johor.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and integrate automated systems within production, collaborating with production and maintenance teams.
  • Test, validate, calibrate, and troubleshoot automation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve processes using lean and continuous improvement methods.
  • Lead automation projects from planning to completion, coordinating with vendors and managing timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure automated systems comply with safety standards, perform risk assessments, and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field; A Masters degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with PLC programming, HMI systems, and industrial control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, C++, Python, or similar; strong understanding of robotics, mechatronics, and industrial automation technologies.
  • Proficiency in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (both spoken and written) is required for business communication.
