A leading technology company in Malaysia is seeking an Automation Robotic Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in designing and implementing robotic automation systems. The candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing robotic solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Proficiency in PLC programming and hands-on experience with industrial robots are essential. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong analytical mindset are key for this role in improving processes and productivity.
The candidate will have a minimum of 3 Years of experience in designing, programming and implementing robotic automation system, with expertise in PLC Programming and AMR/AGV systems. As an automation robotic engineer, he/she will be responsible for developing and optimizing robotic solutions to improve manufacturing process, increase efficiency, and enhance overall productivity.
Design, develop, and implement robotic automation systems to meet project objectives and specifications.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot industrial robots, including robotic arms, grippers, sensors, and vision systems.
Proficient in PLC programming for automation control systems, including ladder logic programming and HMI interface design.
Design and integrate AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) systems for material handling and logistics applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the technical and economic viability of automation projects.
Optimize robot performance through continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Provide technical support and training to production staff on robotic systems operation and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the design and implementation of robotic automation systems.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in robotics technology, PLC programming, and AMR/AGV systems.
