Job description

The candidate will have a minimum of 3 Years of experience in designing, programming and implementing robotic automation system, with expertise in PLC Programming and AMR/AGV systems. As an automation robotic engineer, he/she will be responsible for developing and optimizing robotic solutions to improve manufacturing process, increase efficiency, and enhance overall productivity.

Design, develop, and implement robotic automation systems to meet project objectives and specifications.

Program, configure, and troubleshoot industrial robots, including robotic arms, grippers, sensors, and vision systems.

Proficient in PLC programming for automation control systems, including ladder logic programming and HMI interface design.

Design and integrate AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) systems for material handling and logistics applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop innovative solutions.

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the technical and economic viability of automation projects.

Optimize robot performance through continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Provide technical support and training to production staff on robotic systems operation and maintenance.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the design and implementation of robotic automation systems.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in robotics technology, PLC programming, and AMR/AGV systems.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Robotics Automation, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, programming, and implementing robotic automation systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic and structured text.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial robotic systems, such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, or Universal Robots.
  • Experience in designing and integrating AMR and AGV systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation technologies is preferred.
