An accounting firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an Audit Senior Associate or Assistant Manager. The successful candidates will manage audit engagements, perform detailed analyses of financial statements, and lead audit planning and execution. Responsibilities include supervising junior team members and ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates must have a relevant degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of audit experience, with strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
Manage assigned audit engagements and portfolios of clients across various industries.
Execute audit planning, fieldwork, and audit documentation in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
Perform detailed analysis of financial statements and audit-related matters.
Develop a sound understanding of clients’ businesses and operational environments.
Supervise and guide junior team members and interns during audit engagements.
Prepare audit findings and communicate engagement progress to Managers, Directors, and Partners.

Lead audit engagements end-to-end, including audit planning, execution, review, and final reporting.
Review audit work performed by team members to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
Address complex accounting, financial reporting, and audit-related issues.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by demonstrating professionalism and delivering high-quality service.
Mentor, develop, and provide career guidance to audit staff and interns.
Report key matters, risks, and engagement status to Partners and Directors.
Degree in Accountancy or a recognized professional accounting qualification.
Minimum 4 years of relevant audit experience.
Strong technical knowledge of international and local accounting and auditing standards.
Demonstrated leadership, people management, and client-handling capabilities.
