A leading insurance provider in Southeast Asia seeks an individual to support the pricing process of products. Responsibilities include performing pricing tests, ensuring compliance with regulations, and analyzing data. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science and skills in data analysis and actuarial modelling. The role involves working collaboratively with internal teams to enhance product offerings and requires a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.
To support end-to-end product pricing process and involve in premium rating process to ensure competitiveness of the products as well as to ensure profitability of the products to meet the required return to shareholders.
Key Knowledge, Academic / Professional Certifications:
Academic Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science
Knowledge on:
Actuarial theories, practices and procedures
Statistical packages or programming (e.g. Prophet, Visual Basic, SQL, SAS)
Exposure or experience in reinsurance strategy, structures, pricing or management is encouraged
Others:
Passed or have exemptions in Preliminary actuarial exams in one of the actuarial associations recognised by BNM
Skillsets:
Good communication skills: Written and verbal
